Hello, Plz help......
I am an Indian student of the CBSE board studying in Dubai.........I wish to get accepted in any of the prestigious schools......but I aim for Harvard , Princeton or Yale.......Can you tell me my chances of getting in as an NRI ( Non Residential Indian ) and also if i can get any financial aid , as here they are not many ( in fact no ) scholarship programs......I am not good in music but i am very fond of Reading/Writing/Literature and want to become a psychologist. So can anyone guide me , like how do i give the AP tests , since we don't have them here and the interviews , essays and all the other basic application formats - and above all inform me if I have any chance of acceptance( 'coz i am an Indian studying in Dubai , ps. note that we follow the Indian curriculum ).......Plz reply.

You haven’t given enough information to help you…at all. What is your high school GPA. What is your SAT or ACT score? How much money do your parents earn per year (the school you listed give need based aid only).

I will tell you this much…even if you have tippy top stats, your chances of getting accepted at these schools is low. They accept about 10% of applicants! and even less for international applicants. This means that 90% or more are rejected from these schools every year.

Why have you chosen these highly competitive schools?

What college(s) in your country would be possible for you?

I wonder what the % of int’ls are accepted to schools like H, MIT, etc. I suspect it is less than 5% of applicants.

I am posting here to urge this OP to please ask his questions on this thread, and not via PM.

To the OP…even the strongest international applicants from India are not guaranteed acceptance to the schools you have listed.

In addition, you will need the cooperation of your parents to complete the CSS Profile to get financial aid from theses colleges. Will your op parents complete this form? Or are they insistent that you attend an affordable college in India?
