Recs: outstanding

I would say he has good stats for the schools but it is hard to judge the rest without knowing his specific leadership roles for those ECs if he has any. Also, the university book awards do not mean much from what I know as, in our school, they are given to the most random of students.

The person who got the Harvard Book Award last year did not even get into University of Michigan.

He will get rejected from upper-tier Ivies and Stanford. There’s nothing special about him; just another relatively-high scoring Asian American male who plays piano and does math.

On the other hand, I can see Cornell happening, and probably Duke/Rice/the rest of the colleges on the list.
