Chances for Ivy Leagues/Prestigious Universities

Hello everyone. I am currently a junior. I wanted to know ,based on the information provided, what would be my chances of getting into Harvard? If my chances for Harvard are not that great, what are other Ivy Leagues schools or non Ivy League prestigious universities that would probably accept me? Also, given my plans (listed below), is there anything in particular I should do this forthcoming year to boost my chances?
•Intended major: political science

*=Denotes that these classes were not on my schedule and were classes I was not required to take.
•Extracurriculars: SHAPE (Philantrophic Club, held executive positions for two years as of right now), Key Club (Community Service Club) Speech and Debate, Model UN, Florida Virtual School Latin Club (Vice President during 9th grade, president Grade 10 and Grade 11, inducted into National Classical League), Amnesty International (Founder of club, president), National Hispanic Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, Student Government Association, Leo Club (Community service club), involvement in local church (initiated two hugely successful international aid initiatives)

•Hooks: immigrant, Hispanic, low income, struggled due to being overweight

•Testing
-SAT: have not taken yet, aiming for ~1500
-ACT: 34
-SAT Subject Tests (have not taken some and have not received scores for some): Math Level 2, Literature, Spanish With Listening, Latin, Physics, US History, World History

Also, my school offers the IB Program. I chose not to do it as it limits the classes I can take and would force me to repeat classes but am still taking a full AP load. Will this likely significantly impact admissions decisions given my academic and extracurricular record?

There are no ivy League or Ivy equivalents that will “probably admit” you or anyone. Most are reaches and low reaches for everyone, unless you are the daughter of POTUS or winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Please stop slamming on successful young women.

Of the recent daughters in question, both were in the top 10% (dk exact rank) of their class in a very selective & academically competitive secondary school that typically gets ~25% of the class into tippytops every year. They were ‘probable admits’ no matter who their parents were. It is unfair and disrespectful to their hard work and academic ability to suggest that their admission was based on their parent.

When Malala Yousafzai gets in to a famous uni, it will be not just b/c of her prize, but also her top marks (straight As & A*s at GCSE- in a language she had only learned 3 years earlier- while carrying on a significant load of activist work). Her work had been noted in the NY Times when she was 13 and Archbishop TuTu had nominated her for a prize at 14- before she was shot. She is the kind of stand out the tippytops dream of- even if she hadn’t gotten the Nobel Peace Prize.

Does it hurt to have something like that in your app? of course not. But without the other pieces it would not be enough. Just ask the children of famous people who don’t get into Harvard & Oxford.

Agreed but it was the notoriety of their special situation that may have gotten them into the accepted pile. I was not “slamming” on them.

OP- You have the basic stats for Harvard and top schools. However, the competition among Hispanic URMs is fierce and as of now your ECs do not appear to be national or regional level, so concentrate on great essays and hope your recs distinguish you from other excellent Latinas.
