Currently I am a sophomore in high school. I visited Lafayette recently and absolutely loved it. It’s the number one school I want to go to.
Last year, I was placed in all CP classes and ended up with a B+ in Algebra and Physics. (Both my grades were a 89.3 but my teachers did not round them to an A-)
This year, I take all honors courses besides geometry
-English 10H
-US History H
-Chem H (although I am not doing so well)
-Geometry CP
-Marketing Honors
-German 3 Honors
-Chamber Strings honors
I have a 3.97 weighted and unweighted GPA.
I participate in my schools orchestra, the school advanced orchestra, and and outside of school advanced orchestra.
I am also a member of my schools Golf team.
I am currently in the process of becoming the founder of my schools biomedical club.
I volunteer at a hospital.
This summer I will be doing an exchange program in Europe after hosting a girl last year.
My classes for next year look like this:
-AP Lang
-APUSH
-Bio Honors
-Algebra 2 honors
-An AP elective (either art history, euro, or psychology)
-German 4 Honors
-Chamber Strings Honors
What are my honest chances of getting into Lafayette? What are some things I should do to build my application?
