Stock market investor, averaging 8% return per month

=Essays=

=My first essay was the typical. Teacher made math my fav subject, which is why i love numbers and feel that Mays is the right place for me.

=2nd essay was referring to our **** poor economy at the moment. National debt, consumer spending, value of dollar tanking, rising oil prices etc.. Companies will outsource more jobs to overseas countries

=3rd essay (optional) was basically a exceptional achievement/talent essay.
I wrote about how i was introduced to the stock market in the 8th grade and followed it for a couple of years before deciding to start my own online brokerage account in the 11th grade. I initially was losing my ass but instead of giving up i hit the books and learned more etc, which made me a much more disciplined trader that allowed me to become a profitable trader now.

My grades and rank aren't the best (didnt take fresh/soph years seriously), but im hoping the whole stock market investor thing will boost my chances of getting into TAMU business

34 views and nothing =(

I'd say you have a pretty good shot because you have a better than average class rank, with an average SAT score for Mayes.
You have multiple ECs, which is really good for a school like A&M.
I'm not sure if being Asians going to help, maybe.
Most of my friends that go there really like it, so good luck.

woswill, probably no replies (except the last one from crs1909) because nobody knows. I know a couple of students in Mays (friends of my S), and they both had SAT scores somewhat higher than yours and both had a 4.0 in high school. That doesn't mean that's what you have to have to get into Mays, though!

I don't know too much about texas a&m's admission policy yet.
But usually,Asian identity will only hurt your chance.

If you don't know what you are talking about yucca, it's best not to say anything.

I think the OP has a very good chance at getting into Mays. He should go ahead and apply.

bump 10 char

You're almost certainly in.

But why bother? If you're still earning 8% per month (96% per year before compounding) in the stock market nowadays, you might as well just skip college.

chances are good

Do yall think it would take until April to hear my decision?

yes because you didnt make automatic admission. i think you have a good chance to get in but your gonna have to wait till april to here from them. i know it sucks, i'm waitin to here back from the college of engineering.
