Chances for Mcgill, U of Toronto, and UBC?

GPA: 4.1 W and 3.75 UW (freshman year brought me down A LOT, but for my sophomore and junior years I've maintained a 4.27 W, 4.00 UW)

I've taken 6 honors classes, but **no AP classes/b. This senior year I'm taking 2 AP classes (Econ and Chem) and 2 honors classes. I also just took an Intro to Sociology college course this summer at a nearby university.

SAT: 1990 superscored (640M/670R/680W)

ECs:
Tech Crew for plays - 12 hours a week - 17 weeks a year (Sophomore and Junior)
Science Club - 1 hour a week all school year (Sophomore and Junior)
*Next year I'll be VP of the Science Club
Some math tutoring as a part of Mu Alpha Theta - only like 8 hours total though (Junior)
65 hours of volunteer work at a local aquarium (Junior)

Honors/Awards:
Mu Alpha Theta
National Science Honors Society
RIT Medal

I'll be applying for computer science/engineering.

I'm kind of new to Canadian universities and only recently started looking at them. The price of education is really appealing to me (my father's citizenship status mean I don't have to pay international tuition), so if you have any suggestions I'm open to them!

Bummmmmpin’

First off (most) Canadian schools don’t give a damn about ECs when applying at an undergraduate level. All they care about is your marks and your gpa. Ecs are only counted when you are getting off the waitlist. UBC is the exception to this rule, and they actually do count ECs.

An oddity of McGill is that they don’t look at your grade 9 marks, only grade 10, 100 and 12, so you might need to recalculate your gpa.

Here are McGill’s admission standards: [Admissions standards (US) | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide/standards/unitedstates)

For computer Engineering they want a MINIMUM of:

B+ average in grades 10,
11 and 12; B+ in each
prerequisite math and science;
SATs/ACT per minimum requirements (620, 600, 610)

For computer Science:

B+ average in grades 10,
11 and 12; B+ in each
prerequisite math and science;
each SAT I and II
620 or ACT 28

Both your gpa and SAT scores are above these minimums by a good amount. Therefore both comp eng and comp sci at McGill are low matches for you. You will likely get in, assuming your SATII scores are fine.

UofT is a bit harder to judge since it doesn’t post its admission standards like McGill, but I would say you are in match territory.

I don’t really now enough to comment about UBC.

Another thing to note is McGill gets a lot of American students (currently 20% of student population is international), significantly more than UofT or UBC.
