If I get a 2300-2400 SAT score, and get a 4.0 GPA for 2 years at local college can I transfer to MIT?

heck no. impossible.

So there is nothing I can do?

It’s not impossible, but the chances are extremely low for any transfer applicant. I suggest you look at the statistics and understand what you’re facing.

It’s much easier said to get a 2300-2400 SAT score and a 4.0 GPA at a local college then actually doing it. MIT will also consider what you’ve done at your local college, so don’t ignore that as well.

It’s not that there’s nothing you can do, you can certainly try. But MIT rejects people with 2300+ SAT and 4.0’s all the time in their freshman admissions.

Best of luck to you in your endeavors.

What about UC Berkley?

UC Berkeley would be much more likely COMPARED to MIT.

Yet your chances are still slim.

As I said in my post above, just focus on your current goals now, work hard, be active on your college campus, and the rest will follow.
