Hey everybody. I’m currently a junior in high school and I was wondering about my chances for getting into MIT. As a sophomore I had all 95s and above in Calculus BC and I got a 5 on the AP test. This year I’m taking multivariable calculus and linear algebra independent study and in my senior year, I will take independent study differential equations and partial differential equations. These classes are not as rigorous as college classes but I’m wondering how they affect my chances.
they would probably increase your chances. by how much i am not sure.
but if your independent study is like mine where i have talked for 5 minutes total with my teacher so far… well colleges will not see so it’s the same anyways.
