I (and my parents) would really appreciate an assessment of my little brother's chances at college admissions. He's currently a high school junior and we're trying to compile a list of schools that would be a good fit for him.

His stats:
3.9 unweighted GPA (4.7-ish weighted)
All advanced/AP classes
7-8 AP courses completed by graduation (he took AP World History as a sophomore and got a 4 on the exam)
580 V / 630 M / 620 W
Large (quite good) public high school in the South

Other stuff:
He'll have excellent recommendations
Has played the violin since the age of 4
Only high-schooler in a university Chinese music ensemble - plays erhu (Chinese string instrument)
Collects antiques and traditional Asian musical instruments
Has studied Spanish and Chinese in high school
Volunteers in an antique clock repair shop - he is amazing at fixing things (and also collects old clocks)
Does independent family geneaology research in his spare time (he's contacted dozens of distant relatives all over the world through archival research)
Member of the Multicultural Society at school

So, he's kind of eclectic :) My parents think he would do well at a small school with an ethnically diverse population (he's a Korean adoptee) and lots of personal attention from professors. He has wanted to go to NYU for some reason for years (we're originally from New York and he'd like to be back in the Northeast), but none of us think he would like it due to how big the school is.

Other criteria:
Small/medium size
Chinese/Korean language courses
Good study abroad programs
"Nurturing" environment
Northeastern US/Mid-Atlantic region
Excellent international studies/history/econ/Asian studies programs
Somewhere where he wouldn't need to drive
Perhaps somewhere that doesn't require standardized test scores?

Thank you so much in advance!!
