Start by looking at the common data sets. At many of your schools about 4% are not in the top 10% of their class and less than 2% are not in the top 25%. Unless you’re an amazing quartrback those schools are not worth your effort.

I would say that you have an excellent shot at the match schools you have listed. You would have a higher chance at say, Wash U. and U Penn if you got that SAT score up.

To say, a 2200. Being in the top % isn’t as important because your freshman year might not be counted by certain schools - I know Stanford doesn’t look at freshman year.

I won’t give you arbitrary chances, but you will have a shot at the higher tiered schools on your list if you bag a higher SAT score. A 200 point increase is not unheard of - especially with your low writing score [the easiest section to study for]. And I’m sure that you are capable of a 800M as well as a 700+ CR score.

Your EC’s aren’t the greatest, but they are decent.

Luckily, your in a very competitive high school.

The most competitive schools in the Country, from which top colleges draw as many as 45% of their students, are not even on the list that puts your school at top 20–private prep schools.

Your first line of competition will be the others from your school who will surely be applying to the same top schools.

If only 5% are not in the top 10% of their class, that includes kids from schools like yours too. Without a hook, it’s highly unlikely someone will be in that 5%.

Further, your scores are also not in range for the top schools making them even more unlikely. It’s probably better to deal with this now than spend a lot of time on applications for schools you have little chance at.
