Chances for National Buckeye Scholarship?

Just wondering if anyone would let me know what they think my chances are at receiving the National Buckeye Scholarship. I know I’m jumping the gun a bit, considering I have yet to even apply to tOSU, but I feel good about my chances of acceptance.

OOS-
3.65 UW
10+ honors courses
3 APs so far
31 ACT

I know the minimum requirements are a 28 ACT and top 40% of your class, both of which I fulfill. However, I have no idea how selective this scholarship is, so any insight you can share, please do!

My son had very similar stats with a little lower GPA and he received National Buckeye. However, I know tOSU is really trying to recruit from our area so that may have had an impact on decision.

You should be fine. I had similar scores to you with a little higher GPA and recieved it. You should also have a good shot at receiving one of the provost scholarship depending on your class rank.

When I went for orientation this year it seemed like everyone out of state had gotten the National Buckeye Scholarship. You have a very good chance of getting it. I don’t think its as hard as you think.
