chances for Northeastern, BU (ED), Furman, U miami please (all reach schools)?

<p>Can any of you tell me what my chances are you getting into my dream schools? </p>

<p>GPA :
UW 2.9/4 (ouch i know)
W: 3.6/5</p>

<p>SAT: 2140 (CR 690, M 660, W 790)
APs: Lang, Chem, Bio- 3
Euro 4</p>

<p>My school is a tough school in FL. I want to apply for govt. loans instead of financial aid because it helps to make them think you can pay your own way. I might even take time off for an army term to help me pay for any school.</p>

<p>plans:
I will take 6 subject tests (math level 2, molecular bio, chem, physics, span, writing) and an ACT and another SAT. November scores are accepted by the schools and will help if they're good.</p>

<p>I will apply to each school for easiest major to get into. </p>

NEU EA maybe?
Furman EA
Miami EA</p>

<p>USF, UCF, Loyola of Chicago, FSU all take rolling admissions. after first quarter grades ill apply to them</p>

<p>Although your GPA is low, it helps that your course load is difficult to make up for that. I dont know much about the others, but id say NEastern is a high match and same with BU (maybe a SLIGHT reach)</p>

<p>I think despite a hard course load, NEU & BU will be too out of reach. Additionally they’re both VERY expensive. You probably have a great shot at USF & perhaps at Flagler/Eckard/Rollins as well. I don’t know the other schools well enough to comment. </p>

<p>Your financial aid packages will include loans & aid that doesn’t need to be payed back (Pell, private grants etc) so don’t worry about going out of your way to show you’re willing to take out extra loans over given aid at this point…</p>
