I’ve expressed interest in Northwestern for a while with visits, requesting mail, etc. It’s my dream school!

Please let me know, thanks!

Which school? Test scores are low. EC’s are generic. Also, that “interest” is so typical that it really doesn’t matter at all. I don’t think you have that strong a chance at the moment to be honest, even ED. I would say high reach.

Weinberg, considering major in biology. Could SAT II’s help?

Yes they could. Retaking the ACT and getting a 33-34 would be better as well, but you really don’t have any quality leadership (I don’t consider NHS to be a quality ec because so many people do it).

Considering you’re just coming out of US History, maybe the US History SAT II, also there’s the Lit SAT II that requires no prior knowledge (it has the most brutal scores though, it’s great for people well versed in poetry analysis), and there’s always Math II if you want to prove your math skills.

Does your school offer AP Bio?

Northwestern University [Math Level 2; Chemistry; and Physics required of
applicants to Integrated Science Program; Math Level 2 and Chemistry required of applicants to Honors Program in Medical Education; two recommended for all other applicants]

Would you suggest retaking the ACT or the SAT II’s like you said? I know Northwestern doesn’t superscire officially, but would they consider sub scores at all? Like on my 30 ACT score I scored really well on science, on my 31 I did better in most everything and a little lower on science. Also, my school does offer AP Bio, I took AP Physics though just to expose myself to the subject since I’d taken a bio class already.

You sure want to bring up the ACT a couple points. SAT2 is not required but would help while a good ACT score is required.
