<p>The number of students that they accepts are very low. I would like to hear from people who have gotten into any of these nursing programs and see if their numbers compare to mine.</p>
<p>First of all most colleges, and I'm not saying all because I haven't looked into yours will only allow you to apply to the nursing program once you have completed your prerequisite courses. So that being said, on each schools College of Nursing Website look into what their requirements are. Try and stay away from anything "impacted" or "super competitive" </p>
<p>Looks like all the programs you list are 4 year programs. Most nursing admission people are looking for someone who really wants to be a nurse - you need to really express that in your essays and recommendations. UVA is going to be tough - I think they only take a class of 60 and mostly in state (80%?). You should know that PSU's program requires spending JR or SR year in Hershey.</p>
