Personally, I say in. No one's a guarantee for schools like Stern and Wharton, but you are very well rounded. The SAT might not necessarily be the best, but I think you compensate in a lot of ways. The languages is a major hook (NYU loves multi lingual students). Your EC's are steller. I say in.

About the SAT scores, at the Stern open house last weekend they said that average SAT scores of their students was only 1430 so you seem to be way above the average.

sweet u guys are really bringing my hopes up. I'm doing ED to increase my chances, even if it is a slight boost

hey oboi, stern said 1430 for Math and Reading only... to be safe, my counselor told me that you need 2200+ in 2400 scale.
also I don't wanna be rude or anything, I don't think you have much activities since you only have 1 sport and 2 clubs for school activities and 2 outside of school.

Oh, do they even look at writing at Stern then?
I came in late so I must've missed that.

they claim they would not use it but they can still see it on your list of scores sent to NYU.

i'll be honest with you for the STERN program you need 2200+ on the SATs...good luck though.

some are saying that It would be easier to get into NYU this yr with ED
because of the economic crisis.
