Do I have a good chance of getting into OSU, Syracuse University, Penn State, Michigan State, USF, or Purdue?
I’m kinda new to this, but if you chance me I will try to chance you back. Thanks

I think you have a good chance at all of these schools, OSU being the hardest to get into I think. I’d say strengthen your ECs and find a sort of standout factor or do something interesting that can help set you apart from a typical pool of applicants to any of these colleges.

Chance me?

You have decent shot at cuse, penn state, and OSu, and your definitely in at michigan state and USF

chance back?

Thanks everyone!

I like how all 3 of the people who have answered you are high school students… haha. I’m in college and have utilized a lot of resources to become very familiar with the admissions process.
OSU is a stretch… they typically like a little higher GPA and course rigor. However, you’re in state so that makes it astronomically easier. Just work on the community service aspect and do something to stand out. Start a club or something, but make sure it’s of actual importance.
Michigan State is another stretch I’d say… again going back to the GPA and stand out aspect.
The others seem to be fine and I think you’re pretty safe with Purdue. It’s just hard to say because colleges are looking for different things. Really try to set yourself aside and good luck!

@RKD89023 Thank you! The courses I’m taking for next year are AP Stats, AP Lang, AP Environmental Science, CP Calc, Psych, and Sociology. Are these classes good for OSu and the other schools?
