Chances for on campus housing

Im a transfer who is living off campus this year. What are the chances for those 533 singles in Centennial for Fall 2013 if I apply early right at the date of the application? Also are there any other on campus dorm/apartment that has transfer students like me?

Your chances are really good if you apply for the application early. It opens on November 13th, so get it done right away.

They also have University Village, so you could check that out for apartments.

Just in case I dont get in, do you know any apartment for rent around 3 or 4 months? Since I will be graduating in the Fall ( and my current lease continues till the start of next Fall)

If you don’t get on campus housing - you can go to this link to view all off-campus listings in the area that have currently been posted - be sure to look at the length of the lease that you have to go onto (most will require at least 6 months if not 9 - which sucks I know) but you may find some that are going from month to month.

As far as off-campus housing through the University I can almost guarantee you that they will require a 9 month lease. However, if you were to get this lease type, if you can find someone that will buy-out the reminder of your lease than you can transfer ownership to them - but that is certainly something you’d want as a last resort.

Otherwise you can seriously just look up apartment complexes in the area and see if you can find anything. I am sure that they will be pretty full right now, but if you look later on in the Spring or early summer you may find some openings. DO NOT wait until the last minute to find something as you will not.
