Hook:I speak five languages..

AS you can see I have poor Ecs/no leadership positions..which kinda worries me.
Please chance me for the schools listed above
and recommend me any other schools that highly value polyglotes.

@eak325: I’m not sure what I want to major in yet… but definitely not in the sciences…
I am thinking of English literature or econ… @kidloveit: My school only offers one AP course; the rest is IB… we can take the exam through self-study though :P

I think your credentials are excellent for an international student. Schools like to have diversity and the fact that you speak five languages is worthy. If you can pay your way, that’s good too.
I would also consider Dartmouth, Cornell, Williams, Brown and Rice.
Good Luck. You’ll do fine.

Scores are good enough, but no real leadership experience from what I can tell…

Also, you should look into the huntsman program at Penn. It’s a very prestigious program that is great for students with a more international background/interest

Thanks for your comments.
I am not going to apply for any FA ; I guess I’ll work hard during the summer
I’m in South-East Asia but I am not living in my home country…
Also, I am in a pretty competitive school…and I know that ppl from my school are applying to the same college as me.
As astonmartinDBS noted, I don’t have any leadership experience though …
and I don’t play any sports or instruments :P
