Chances for Phillips Academy Andover

According to the Andover website the majority of those who are accepted have a GPA of 3.9 - 4.0 (A) and have SSAT scores in the 93rd percentile. I'm here to ask what my chances are of acceptance to Andover if my GPA is 3.6 but my SSAT scores are above the 93rd percentile.

Additional info:

Interested in Particle and Theoretical physics

Play Alto Sax (intermediate)

I want to play either double bass or cello (I play electric bass now)

Pretty good at soccer

I've been told that I'm a very good writer

I know extra-curriculars are a large part of the application process but my current school lacks such activities. I attend an international school in Libreville, Gabon (if it matters). Also I'm from Niger, Mali, and Nigeria if it helps. I used to get by in school just by my natural intelligence but lately I've been making an effort to work harder with Andover as my new impetus for diligence. And if it helps I attended the Summer Institute for the Gifted this summer.

Please bestow upon me your knowledge.

i have also participated in a Model UN

For the OP, what grade are you currently applying for?

10th I’m 14 and I’m not learning ANYTHING at my current school and I’ve become sick of it.

SevenDad, What would said officer do?

@moobozaa: Let say somewhere down the road you post some stuff about how you’d much rather go to Exeter. By posting info that allows an AO to identify you, you allow that AO to review your post history and possibly see that you would not be a yield prospect.

And, as this is supposed to be an anonymous forum, that anonymity thing…

thank you for your warning, but I have a slight suspicion that you might be a retired AO if not an active one…
