Took SAT earlier got 1560 and going to take it again in June. GPA could either be 3.33 uw and 3.5 w or 3.3 uw and 3.46 w. Had 3.1 uw and 3.25 w freshman year. Going to submit essay and Letters of recommedations as well. Pitt runs rolling admissions, and start accepting June 15th. I plan on applying on June 20th. My ECs are Key Club 4 years, Track and field 3 years, SADD 2 years, Library Volunteer, Worked local NABA basketball games concession stands, and this summer plan on doing EPA Pre College program at CMU Summer Study Program from Carnegie Mellon. How do my chances look for Pitt???

Actually am not doing the CMU pre med college program instead got a job at Rite Aid and going to work there whole summer. What are my chances? Do I even have a chance? Also for ECs worked at APPNA Physician Conference.

Your chances sound pretty good, but if anything keeps you out it will be your gpa.

bumpppppppppp

Your numbers are rather low for Pitt, mainly your GPA (they have become rather selective in the past few years). I know of people getting rejected with 3.8-4.0 uw. It will be a reach, but you should apply as early as possible. Also try and increase your SAT to a 1700-1800.

ArtsyGirl13 - Will try to get SAT Scores up.

Finished year and have 3.33 uw and 3.5ish W GPA. Cumulative combining freshman, soph, and junior year.

Pitt looks at the 2 parts of the SAT1, CR and M. They also do take into account the difficulty level of your courses.

The 3.3 is not so great, what were your Bs in?
