Won "Finalist" in the Ayn Rand Writing Contest for Anthem in 10th grade

NYU Pre-College Program
Intro to Macroeconomics: B+
Intro to Psychology and its applications: A-

NYS Summer Young Writers institute in 11th grade. REALLY COMPETITIVE. had to write a 10-page piece of literature, which i did a short story.

Wow you sound like me. I too did the NYU pre-college program in macro. If you get in, make sure you send those scores in so it could be transferred and petition to make it count for the requirements if you’re an econ major. Overall, you should have a pretty descent shot. You too a bunch of IBs which colleges like to see and your GPA showed an upward trend like you said which shows improvement. ECs are stellar as well.

Thanks! and yeah, i feel that my GPA is the only problem that comes up to all the colleges im applying to.

But if you think about it, i seem to be doing better in my junior year (which is practically all IB) than other years where its just regular classes and a couple of honors.

I guess they could understand that i am able to handle college courses and dont take regular courses seriously.
