Ive taken all honors clasess and am now in AP Calc BC and AP Physics C
Competitive Private School (92-100 is an A, 84-91 a B, etc)
(Calc AB and Physics B dont count as AP, only as honors classes)
GPA 3.65 unweighted, 4.45 Weighted
SATS-
Math- 760
Verbal- 640
Physics- 680
Math II- 660
Rank- 20 out of 340 (which is top %10)</p>

<p>meh, you're pretty average out of the applicant pool. I'd say you've got an ok shot of getting in, depends on what college you're applying to, how your essays are, and how lucky you are. But if I could get in, then I'm pretty sure the whole thing is a crapshoot.</p>
<p>thanks for the comment, i know cornells sat is about 1290-1480 (old), so why do so many people say i have no chance at all? bc the The sat IIs? rank?</p>
<p>I think you would have had a better chance for ED, but its worth a shot. Write good essays, show passion for the subject, and you'll have a decent chance.</p>
<p>EDIT: To address your question, I think people say you have no shot because they've seen the stats students who were rejected/deferred RD have. Those deferrals are essentially your competition for RD, and their stats are a little higher. That can be made up with the quality of your subjective materials such as the essays and recs. Regretfully, the fact that you're a white male will hurt you, but that's the world we live in today.</p>
