<p>My S has a 29 ACT if superscored 31 . Math2c 740, Chemistry 680. GPA 3.7 Weighted with the most challenging courseload with all honors and 4 APs so far and 3 more this year. Has lots of ECS with leadership positions in a couple of clubs. He is also an AP Scholor. What are his chances?</p>

<p>Well they don't superscore the ACT, but I think your son has a good chance because vandy likes to see diversity in the activities and leadership skills in students. But then again RD is pretty tough, so he will need to have some standout qualities.

<p>True about the ACT - no superscore. Did he take the SAT? They do superscore that. My S just got in ED with about a 4.1 gpa from a very competitive well known school but not outrageous test scores. He is also an AP scholar and has another National award and a State award. He did however, have a lot of very interesting service work with significant leadership. Does your son's ECs include service? I do think RD will be quite tough this year but tell your son to write a killer essay - that will help too.</p>
