Chances for Stanford, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, more

I am applying to Stanford, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Washington St Louis, Columbia, Brown, Duke, UCLA, UCI, UCSD. I am applying as either a Bio major or premed.

I am an expected IB Diploma student with:
UWGPA: 4.00
Weighted: 4.75
(This includes soccer and MUN, which is a 4 pt class at my school).

5s on almost all of my AP tests, top scores on my 2 IB tests so far, and I’ve taken three years of Biology (Honors, AP, and IB HL). I have also taken AP Physics 1 and Honors Chemistry (couldn’t do AP do to scheduling conflicts). Also in AP Calc BC

SAT: 1570 (770 Englsh sections 800 math)
National Merit Semifinalist
SAT Math II and Biology: took in October, 750+ expected

ECs:
Model UN Secretary-General
Junior Varsity Soccer
OC Science (club that holds STEM “fairs” at local elementary schools with demonstrations and booths such as dry ice, elephant tooth paste, rocket launch, etc. I created 4 biology/chemistry related events attended by hundreds of kids).
CSF: 400+ hours of volunteering across 4 years
UCI Health Student Research Intern Program: I have emailed the Department of Medicine regarding opportunities to volunteer there.

What are my chances??? Thanks

wow those EC’s are extra ordinary! i wish i could help but i have no background knowledge on biomed. Good luck to you on applying!

You should be competitive. But there will be many with the same stats to compete with

Good luck!

Your GPA, test scores, ect are all in the range where you would definitely have a good chance. Just remember that Ivies and other top schools are REALLY selective, so even if you are a school’s “perfect” student, you might not be admitted, but I’d definitely apply to a few if I was you.

Your overall stats are great! In your essays, I would talk more about the OC Science thing and possibly about the how your involvement influenced the community. Although you have not listed the major you are applying as, I would assume it has something to do with biology. In that case, its really down to chance if you get in, as with any other T20 school. I wish you all the best!

Your stats will put you in the ballpark everywhere. Be sure to have safeties and matches on your list that you will be happy with as a plan B.
