Very active in my church. Volunteering as leader for church camps etc.

Starting an organization where underprivaliged kids get a chance to go to disneyland

Played Gold level soccer for 10 years, have won provincials twice

Play on my senior boys volleyball team winning provincials

Acted for 10 years doing over 35 commercials, 3 movies

1000 volunteer hours

My recommendations should be fairly good: One from the doctor im working for, my church pastor and maybe a teacher i know pretty good

Im thinking in grade 12 of probably getting a 91% average

My sats should be a little above average so maybe a 2000

what are my chances of getting in stanford, USC, UM

Stanford - Reach (I'd say at they'd want at least 2100 and REALLY good EC's)
USC - Maybe? Depends mostly on CR + M...try to get around 1300 for that.
UMich - Maybe? Again, your SAT's should be around 1300 (if you're out of state)

I don't know if you can get into their pre-med programs...those usually require about 1400 SAT's, hospital experience, and 3.7ish GPA

actually university of miami lol i just put in my ec's as well

Yea i was wondering myself which one. Ok if its Miami great cuz i will be going htere as a freshman this fall and i can help u out.
Stanford will be ur hardest of all. id say in that school its a 50/50 or less.
USC u have a better chance. I would say about 65-70%.
Finally UM. Ill comment a lil bit about the atmosphere as well.
First off: U have a good shot as well. probably just as much as USC mayby a lil more of a chance. say 75%.
I suggest u look at the video on theu.com
it will give u a good insight of the school. I have yet to meet a person that tells me the campus is ugly. everyone i meet tells me its paradise. They love the City of Miami, They love the school and nevertheless, they love their hurricane Football :D
Campus dosnt have the traditional red brick buildings and castle looking buildings. it looks more like a 5 star resort/park with a huge lake in the middle of campus, lots of palm tress and exotic trees. Its not only a paradise to humans but to the wildlife as well. Lol seriously, the gators love to hang around the lake and sunbathe as do these weird looking birds and turtles.
The surrounding area is even better. its arguably the wealthiest and prettiest area of Miami with a ton of malls, cafes, shops, restaurants etc.. School spirit here is huge. everyone packs the stadiums and heads to the Orange Bowl to watch the football games.

well the only thing really deciding which one to go to is the campus really. since costs are relatively the same im gunna check out that sight thanks acarta

your ECs are very impressive.

any suggestions on how to get a way better chance into getting in umiami, usc and stanford

Yea I submitted 2 essays. the required essay and an academic and career objectives essay. I also submitted a Extra curricular 4 pg resume.
I submitted 4 letters of reference.

All that helps.

just like to know but sheepwhich part of my ec's are impressive?

My take on your chances... ratings go: unlikely reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

Stanford... REACH.
University of Southern California... GOOD FIT.
University of Miami... LIKELY.

And as to your question about ECs... to me the things that are impressive are your apprenticeship under a doctor and community service hours.

ok thanks littleeathiest

Stanford: reach
USC: match

You have no visible focus/passion.

actually no offense i mighta not explained it earlier but the reason iw ant to do pre-med is because i had a very rare brain tumor a couple years ago with a less than 1% chance of living and i volunteer at the hospital any other ideas for ec's to show my that kyledavid80?

It's a bit late to show it. A passion/focus is developed, not simply made. Further, I don't know what your passion is; you might try to figure out events/activities you can do over the summer.

any other ideas anyone?

no more input?
