I dont usually fill out these things but i really am intrigued with Wake Forest and would like to see if i even have a shot. I know my scores are a little low for Wake's liking but i'm hoping they wont discredit all the other things i hope i have going for me.

If you haven't visited, make sure that you try to. Wake likes it a lot when kids show that they know a lot about the school and know that they want to go there. Also, I think that the fact that you are from Oregon will have a positive impact on your application. Definitely apply.

Wake students come from all over the country. My suitemates (6 of us total) are all from different states. It may not be a huge benefit, but applying as an out-of-state student to Wake - especially from the West Coast - can be looked upon favorably in that it promotes student diversity.

yeah, but being out of state doesn't shoo you in either. I'm actually from another country and I know kids from my High School who were rejected/waitlisted.

Apart from the international thing, your stats were pretty similar to mine and I got in :) Make sure to write good essays! I hear those are more important at Wake than they are at other schools....

Nizz, I got the same score (2070) on the October SAT! I think it's a good score for Wake, right in the middle/upper part of the medians. Best of luck (did you apply ED?)

Just kidding. Your stats look pretty good, but none of us have any insight as to what those demon deacons are looking for so we can't really give you a good answer. I know its a stressful time, but all you can do is wait.
