chances for transfer

I'm currently a cc student and I was wondering what my chances were for transferring to berkeley as an econ major.

my stats:

gpa: 4.0

ec's: some community service

um obviously you're going to have to be a bit more descriptive than that.

They look at a lot more than your GPA and ECs. Have you completed IGETC, how many units total have you completed, have you completed all the prereqs........etc....

Uh. Seems like you're in granted you complete IGETC and preparation courses.

good luck, i don't know your full stats though so I can't coment

Thanks for the replies, the main reason I was wondering about my chances for transfer were, that although I'll be able to finish igetc and all lower division requirements for the major, I won't have any honors courses or the american cultures requirement fulfilled.

I think you'll get in. Given that you have really completed 60 credits that is.

60 credits with a 4.0 is good anywhere

i had a 4.0, econ major. 62 units. major requirements completed. a bombass essay, community service, and some ec. howeve,r i got rejected from ucla and deferred to spring admittance for berkeley.

^that sucks. I'm waiting for Georgetown to evaluate my spring semester grades. I'm not sure how I'll do because i got 4 out of 4 B's. All were borderline A's but I dunno.

Wait, you can apply to Berkeley for Spring? SWEEET

uh oh, Mr.Pinaple just what you need, more competition. :)

nah i didn't apply to spring, they pushed me to Spring cuz there wasn't any room.
