bumpity bump :D

any input would be great… im also considering applying to NYU, NU, and cornell, perhaps ED

Your SAT is around average with the people accepted into UMich, and your GPA is also good enough. You have a 55/45 chance in my opinion.

Thanks for the input… Is there anything else I can do? By the way, does it help me that i am foreign born?

Your SAT is much above the average UofM SAT (2030). So, your SAT is definitely really good for UofM.

Your grades are also good enough because UofM wants GPA’s 3.8 or higher. So, you are good in this aspect too.

Your extracurriculars seem great. You have a lot of leadership roles, even though you may not have too many awards or accolades. But, your athletic side is definitely really good. Also, I am not sure what the Therapeutic Horse program is, but it seems really unique, which is good. So, overall your EC’s are great.

Essays and Rec’s also seem to be really good, based on what you are saying. And, I am not sure if your race will help you get in, but it will not harm you. UofM tends to do affirmative action against Asians. If you wrote about how you are foreign-born in your essay and how it impacted you, then your foreign-born satis could help you. But, if you don’t really talk about it, I don’t think it would really help you.

Finally, I think you have a really good chance of getting in. I would say more like 70-30, and I am being very modest in my opinion. So, good luck!

thank you  what about a NYUcas? would my chances there be viable enough to be accepted?
