<p>Ive been wanting to go to Umich since I was young and I would like to know how I stand and what I can do to improve my chances of becoming accepted.</p>

<p>I live on Long Island, NY and I go to an extremely competitive school, ranked 13th in the nation. I am white and catholic.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 UW 4.2 W (upward trend- soph 3.4 junior- 3.8)
SAT: 2080/ 1360
-Math 680
-English 680
-Writing 720</p>

<p>ACT: 31 (1380)
SAT II:
Physics- 740
US History- 760</p>

<p>Taken 4 AP's so far. AP Euro (4) AP Comp AP Physics Ap American.
Senior year: AP Chem, AP Psych, AP Lit, AP Gov't, AP Economics, AP Calc, AP Spanish. I will have taken 11 AP's at the end of senior year (heaviest workload possible)</p>

<p>My passion is science research which I find very interesting, I have entered many competitions such asIntel, Siemens Westinghouse, Dupont Challenge, Oracle Thinkquest, and Toshiba Exploravision.</p>

<p>My essays will be strong as well as my recommendations.</p>

<p>You have a really good chance. Just apply really early (September) and I think that you will be set.</p>

<p>i think low reach, since you are OOS and your GPA really isnt that amazing nor is your SAT scores</p>

<p>our school doesnt rank but i would approximate top 15%-20%</p>

<p>Michigan cares a lot about GPA (middle 2 years) and your 3.6 is weak. Still have a chance but not very good.</p>
