I'm a junior in highschool, and JUST got my SAT scores today. I want to go to Cal Poly SLO, the other schools I'm looking at are UW- Seattle, UCB (which I KNOW is a reach), UCSD, UCI(maybe, I'm not sure). Looking to major in computer science.
Writing: 690
Math: 670
Critical Reading: 620
Sophmore GPA : 3.9
Junior GPA(predicted weighted) : 4.0
AP's: Calc AB, Physics B.(planning to take more senior year)
WANT to take a course at UCI this coming summer (single variable calculus/ intro to programming using python)
Chances of getting into ANY of the above colleges?
Or, any recommendations for where I can get into (good schools)

All-in-all, I’d say you have a decent chance with UDub, depending on how everything else (extracurriculars, senior course load, etc.) add up.
I’ve a friend who got accepted with 3.8 cumulative GPA and 1700 SAT. People have gotten there for less.
It’s a good school. I’m also applying. :)

SLO is a reach
UCB is a reach
UCI is a match
U Dub is a match

If I was you I would get some pretty good safety schools. Try CSU Long Beach- still a great school. Also, look at Cal Poly Pomona, as I would say that you could get in their.
