Chances for UCLA/UCB?

Hi everyone! :slight_smile: Could you please chance me for UCLA/UCB because it would be my dream to be accepted to these schools! Thanks!

Intended Major: Bio
GPA: 4.0 unweighted
UC GPA: High school says its 4.72 on transcripts but when I calculated I got 4.36 (Capped W) and 4.64 (Uncapped W)
HS Rank: 4/900 (Top 1%)
SAT: 2160 (Should I retake?)
SAT II: US History (710)
AP: World History(4), Biology(4), English Lang(4), US History(5), Calculus AB(5)
Senior classes: AP Econ/Gov, AP Calculus BC, AP Literature, AP Physics, Spanish 3

EC:
-Tennis (4 years)
-City Youth Councilor (3 years)
-500 volunteer hours
-kids camp (90 hrs)
-kids reading program (80)
-science tutor (220 hrs)
-city events as a youth councilor

Awards: nothing big but Ap Scholar w/ Distinction, community award for youth council awarded by mayor

Also attended COSMOS UCSD which counts as a special academic program on the app

I was also wondering if I should retake my SAT b/c idk if 2160 is high enough for UCB/LA and if I should submit my 680 SAT II Bio score?

I think to compensate for the weakness in ECs, you need to improve your SAT somewhat. I would be more confident with 2200+. So you are not much off in my opinion! I will try ACT as well!

UCLA/UCB are a High Match/Match depending upon how your essays and EC’s are considered by admissions. Bumping up your SAT definitely could not hurt. Good Luck.
