Chance me i'll chance you back!

For schools like emory, your class rank is a bit low.
Your SAT isn't as high as it should be, but i doubt you would get denied because of it.

UConn- in
University of Vermont- ?
Brandeis- in, low match
Vanderbilt-in, low match
Tulane- in
Wash U (sister went there, don't know if that does anything)- match
Emory- reach
Johns Hopkins- reach

j.hopkins - high match/reach
chance me back!

hey guys thanks alot. I'm gonna chance you back right now

bumpppppppp

pulsa- How can you say the Vanderbilt is a low match while Emory is a reach?? Vanderbilt is actually slightly more competitive; they have a 22 percent acceptance rate and the middle 50 percent SAT of their enrolled freshman is 1400-1500.

OP, I would say Vandy, emory, and washu are reaches, Brandeis is a match, and Uconn and Uvm are safeties.

OK, I have basically the exact same stats as you except I have a slightly higher class rank and SAT. You have more AP classes than me though.

UConn- Safety (go for the honors program like me)
University of Vermont- Obviously in
Brandeis- no clue
Vanderbilt- high match/low reach
Tulane- match
Wash U (sister went there, don't know if that does anything)- in I guess
Emory- no idea
Johns Hopkins- mid reach

Vandy's SAT range is not 1400-1500. The average SAT score is 2040.

1380-1500/1600 class of 2012 look on their website

The average SAT scores for just math and english is 1330-1500; so i think both of you guys are right if you add the writing in as well. But thank you for your chances. If you guys have links i'd be glad to return the favor

Also wondering if i should do interviews for these schools or will that not make a big difference?

bumppppp; chance ya back

go for the interview but generally you should only do it for the school your most interested in. this shows the admissions officers that your very interested and endearing/passionate about what you want. they really like that. and it adds another plus because your wont be just a piece of paper and they can connect a face to the application.

as for your colleges looks pretty decent you will definitely get in to at least 2 or 3. i think brandeis is a good high decent match. not safety or not too much of a reach. =]
