Chances for UC's

I am trying to choose just one or two UC schools to apply in order to reduce the application fees. I wanted to know which ones I have a better chance of being admitted.

Berkeley - high match

Irvine - safety
Los Angeles - high match
Merced - low safety
Riverside - low safety
San Diego - match/low match
Santa Barbara - safety
Santa Cruz - low safety

you should probably probably apply to UCLA/UCB and possibly UCSD if you want to.

good science SAT2s (~750+) will solidify your position.

Hm. If you really can only narrow it down to 2, pick UCLA and UCD. One high-tier (UCLA or UCB) and one middle tier (UCD, UCI, UCSB). I think you have a great chance at UCLA but if you need a backup pick UCD. That’s assuming you have no other backups. If you have other backups in mind, pick UCLA and UCB.

Thank you. I do have other back ups for in state, so I’ll apply to UCB and UCLA.
