chances for UCSB and Cal Poly for Fall 13'

I'm a freshman right now at a cc and am applying to these two schools next fall. I would be applying as a geography or anthropology major at ucsb or both for cal poly. I had a 3.4 last semester and a 3.8 this semester, volunteered, and had 2 part time jobs. I was wondering if anyone knew what my chances would probably be, I am taking my math and english this next fall but I haven't taken them yet, I wasn't sure if that would completely rule me out because I didn't take them the year before. I am also a dsps student, I don't know if that has anything to do with the application process. I would appreciate any help! thank you!!!

These are also just the only two schools I have visited, I am still looking for more, so if anyone has anyone suggestions please let me know!

I love geography. May I ask why you are you majoring in it? I took it just to cover my science req, and I ended up getting a STEM award in it.

Check out the UC transfer section, but you’ll definitely be in at ucsb if you keep it up! Not sure about cal poly though. You’ll be fine if you take math and English in the fall. Try to take 110 this summer and 111 in the fall just to be safe. Talk with a counselor if you can.

I see you’re a fellow sbcc student, I was as well and I am transferring to ucsb in the fall so feel free to pm me with any questions.
