UCSB and CAL POLY chances

<p>I was wondering what my chances realistically were for getting into these schools for Fall 13. I am in SBCC now and am an Anthropology major. I not only go to school full time but I also work 2 jobs and volunteer. First semester got a 3.4 and this semester got a 3.8. I am taking 15 units a semester and they are all transferable and I'm also taking classes that UCSB and Cal Poly recommend to increase your chances. My concern is that I'm applying in the fall of 12 and I will be taking the English and Math classes that same fall. I know sometimes they just prefer you to take them earlier but I couldn't get into any classes but I'm still going to have them completed before transfer, I wasn't sure if taking them the year before I transfer would really ruin my chances or what would happen. I have no clue what to except and if I should even bother applying. Thank You!!</p>
