Chances for UCSC/CU Boulder?

Hey guys, I've been getting pretty anxious as of late regarding admissions, and am wondering about these two schools, mainly because they are my targets. I am a California resident. My GPA UW is 3.3 and weighted is 3.5- not the best, I know, but I have an ACT of 28 and upward trend in grades. I am worried because I'm applying for Computer Science everywhere, but it's in engineering which is pretty competitive to get into and I'm only so-so in math. I'm in Calculus right now, but I was in Calculus AB AP first semester and barely passed with a C, something that has got me scared as well. Sciences-wise I'm fine, having taken Chemistry, Biology and Physics, with As both semester in Physics, which I'm hoping can help.

I was wondering what you guys think? I'd really love to go to UCSC, and Boulder to a lesser extent due to price, but this whole engineering school thing has got me worried.

You have great chances at those schools due to your ACT and upward trend.

Thanks for the input! You don’t think applying to the college of engineering will keep me from getting into either?

Bump! My friend got into Boulder several days ago and we both applied on the same day, which is what has got me a bit worried.

Final bump, anyone else have input? I would really appreciate any!
