wow. Your wrong. no offense. IM A TRANSFER AND COMPETITIVE AND LEGACY AND IN-STATE.

if already know then why would you ask

because I want to prove all you poons wrong.

Your in a completely different category then the First Time Freshman. If you do in fact have an AA from a Florida CC, then you will be applying as a transfer student. I have no idea what kinda qualifications are required to do that because I am not trying to transfer in.

Call admissions

That's a pretty awful SAT score and it looks like you took almost no weighted classes..you sure you belong here?

That said, you might get in based on stuff like Eagle Scout, I don't know.

Apart from you "pwning" us he's pretty much right. I'd say you have a slim chance except for the legacy thing.

legacy only matters if your parents donate a dorm or something of that significance. It matters far less than URM, SAT, GPA, and EC's.

Actually, I have to agree with the original poster, even though his comment was rude. With an AA Degree, these stats are fine. I think you're in.

I heard that admissions folks read these threads quite regularly. I'd be careful with my comments if I were you Chances Please16. It wouldn't be too hard to figure out who you are from your stats/situation, as they're rather unique....

you have an excelllent shot

Actually, you should apply as an incoming freshman according to their admissions office. You will get priority for scholarships, aid, housing, etc. Once accepted you will be advised as a transfer.

I think you have a good shot even though you are not quite in their mid-ranges.

thank you. I agree that I lack the test scores UF is looking for. But in-state sure does help :p.
