Chances for UMBC and Towson EA?

I applied to both early action, and I am wondering if I will get in to the schools early action or not. If not early action, please tell me my chances for regular admission. I really don't know much about the competitiveness of Towson, so if someone could tell me where I stand for that school that would be awesome.

GPA- Unweighted- 3.18 (yeah not the greatest... math is a weak point for me which isn't good since I want to get into UMBC)
Weighted- 3.8

SAT Score (2400 scale)- 1780
(not including writing)- 1140

I would say, at least for UMBC, your chances are pretty iffy. A low GPA can be saved by good test scores, but yours are all right at best. Your extra curricular activities are fine, but I would suggest improving your test scores (take the ACT or the SAT again and aim for a 29/30 and 1900-2000, respectively). Best of luck, it seems like you’re a good person and would do well at either of these schools.

thank you for replying. unfortunately i can’t take the SAT again because I already applied (well I guess i could if I re-took it and tried for regular decision…maybe I will end up doing that)

Do i have a chance at Towson?
