So, I'm currently a sophomore in college.

Okay, so I went to Drexel University for my freshmen year, but then I decided to transfer out this upcoming fall (because lets face it, Drexel is mad expensive) to the University of Pittsburgh, but when I got there, I ended up hating it there, so I decided to go back to Drexel for the Fall term only (re-admittance process).

But, I'm looking to transfer out for the Spring semester 2013 to the University of Maryland (College Park) or UMBC. I recently just applied to both, so I should be getting a decision late October for UMBC and late November/early December for UMD.

I want to know what my chances are for getting into one of those schools (mainly College Park campus).

High School GPA: 3.37
College Freshmen GPA was a 2.989 (I know, it's pretty bad, but good thing GPA doesn't transfer)
SAT Score (reading, math, and writing): 1560 ( I know, horrible too)...

But, take in consideration that when I applied to transfer out this Fall, I applied to seven transfer schools:

University of Pittsburgh - Accepted
University of Connecticut - Accepted
University of Wisconsin - Madison - Accepted
Northeastern University - Accepted
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor - Denied
Michigan State University - Denied
Purdue University - Denied (which I don't understand...because this was the easiest school I applied to out of all of them -_-)

So, I got into four transfer schools out of seven, and some of those schools that I got into have the same difficulty level as UMD, if not, even harder (Northeastern University), but I ended up transferring to Pitt, but then coming back to Drexel for the Fall term because I hated Pitt, but I'm hoping to get into one of those Maryland schools. I applied to no back ups...but I feel like I should, but I just want to be in Maryland, so i'm taking a risk.

Any advice or comments? :o
