ECs: VP of Senior Class, Bowling Team (junior & senior year, captain senior year), JV Lacrosse (Freshman year), Girls Varsity Lacrosse Videographer (Junior Year), Chess Club (senior year), Employed in family business for 4 years year round,

Some outside info: Was diagnosed and finally treated for serious ADD/ADHD in spring of junior year which explains why I have a low GPA and high ACT score. My mother suffered a near death experience thanksgiving of sophomore year which took up alot of my time for about half a year which also contributes to a reason why my grade was slacking for some of sophomore year.

My mom's ability to pay is zero because right now shes a sick, single mother whos recently unemployed and i have a dead beat father. (I've explained this in extenuating circumstances essay)

For Union College: My sister is a current freshman, and I have 3 uncles/aunts who were past alumni of the school.

I was a QuestBridge finalist. I am a great essay writer (according to college advisor and other readers who have read my essays). And I plan on majoring in Computer Science/Mathematics.

Early: Union College
RD: Trinity College, Syracuse, Bentley, Drexel, Ithaca, Dartmouth, Babson College

Also what do you guys think about Hofstra? I don't see why I shouldn't apply to it but my mom says that I can do better..

To be honest, the only schools I'd be excited to go to were Trinity, Union, Syracuse, and Dartmouth. Bentley kinda but the so few major options sorta make me nervous... Ithaca I am kind of uninterested in applying to but I figure its a safety, I don't know that much about Drexel and Babson but I don't think I'd be too excited to go there.

Are there other schools do you think I should be looking at?

I am interested in a small-medium sized school in the northeast that is liberal-artsy kind of but doesn't have to be liberal arts. I can't apply to state schools/public schools because their financial aid won't be enough.

Sorry I can't really comment on your chances topic but I am just a highschool senior biting my fingers anxiously waiting to hear from my schools. Was pretty discouraged getting rejected from Washington & Lee. I wish everybody here good luck with their applications!
