I am an out of state student applying to UDel. My Sat scores are: Reading-570, Verbal-620, Math-550. My weighted GPA is a 3.76. I have numerous volunteer and extracurricular activities as well. What are the chances of me being accepted to the University of Delaware?? Thank you so much!!

Please help me?

I am no expert, and these chance threads are speculative, but you are in the middle of the SAT range of the applicant pool- about 45-50% according to collegeboard. In this case, you should apply, do your best on the essays, and then the rest is up to the school. Your recommendation letters and counselor letters will be part of the decision. You could also try the ACT. Delaware also recommends-does not require- the SAT 2 in two subjects if this would help you.
Your college list should include schools that you are at the higher range of accepted students as well so that you increase your chances of acceptance to college. It’ risky to have only reaches and at the 50% this could be a reach depending on the applicant pool they get.

I have heard UD is now very competitive for OOS. In my daughter’s graduating class which was only a couple years ago most of our school’s oos got in with your stats.
