I am a junior at a private, Catholic high school in Florida. I've wanted to go to the University of Florida my entire life. My school offers AP, Honors, Advanced College Prep, College Prep, and General. Freshman year I did not do so well and finished with a 3.2 unweighted. Sophomore year I brought it up to a 3.4 unweighted. Halfway through my junior year, I am doing amazing and have received all A's and my GPA is currently at a 3.5 unweighted, 3.8 weighted. My school weighs our GPA's differently than others I believe. Instead of adding .5 to honors and 1 to AP, it's only .25, so this may alter things. I'm expecting to bring my GPA up even more by the end of this year.
Classes I have taken:
Freshman year: Honors Algebra I (one semester, dropped to ACP second semester because of a C in that class, received an A once I dropped down to ACP) Art Appreciation, Catholic Christianity, Digital Literacy, English I Honors, Integrated Science Honors, Music Appreciation, Personal Fitness, Sacramental Theology, and World Geography Honors.

Sophomore year: AP world history, Art 2D Comp, Biology I ACP (only because I got a B in integrated science honors, but I was moved back up to honors my junior year), English II Honors, French I, Geometry, Intro to Bible I and II, Team Sports

Junior year: Algebra II, Anatomy and Physiology Honors I and II, AP Language and Composition (AP class, but I am getting dual enrollment college credit instead) AP U.S History (same thing as english, it is an AP class but I am getting dual enrollment college credit instead) Chemistry Honors, French II, World Religions, Western Civilization.

My school requires to have 4 years of religion credit, which explains why you see many religion classes.

CLUBS/SPORTS/SERVICE: Hosa club (officer), sadd club (officer), st. vincent dePaul club, surf club, green club, volleyball freshman year (sadly my only sport), spanish club, french club, prom committee, 70+ community service hours (I plan on getting more, over 150), placed 1st at regional history fair competition and 3rd at the state competition, placed 3rd at Hosa competition and moved on to state, will probably place again at history fair this year and will hopefully move on to nationals. I will be in National Honors Society next year.

Senior year: This I need help with. I will be taking AP Lit&Comp (another dual enrollment college credit class), AP Government (another dual enrollment college credit class), AP Economics, Honors Trigonometry, Honors Probability and Statistics, Genetics Honors, Fabrics and Fibers, Philosophy, and Sociology. This leaves me with 2 open spots for each semester. Even though I will have one and a half more science credits needed, should I still take Physics for the entire year? And even though I'll have my two language credits, should I still take French III? To be honest, the only reason why I would take these classes is to get in to UF, and it would seriously suck if I was miserable the entire year with these classes and didn't even get accepted. The teachers for both classes are awful.

My school requires 26 credits for graduation, but I'm pretty sure that I will have close to 30.

Testing: I haven't taken the ACT/SAT yet (going to in February) but usually I am a good test taker for these types of things and I am also prepping myself. I know that doesn't help much. I'm aiming for a 2000+ on SAT and a 29+ on ACT.

Last notes: My dad, sister, and brother-in-law all went to Florida, so I'd be a legacy and that would hopefully raise my chances a little bit. My sister was also in the Chi Omega sorority, but I don't know if that would mean anything. I'm pretty sure my dad knows some people and has some sort of connection, but I want to be accepted without his help. I have wanted to go here my entire life, and of course I have thought of back up colleges but I don't truly want to go there. I understand that if I get admitted, it will probably be in the Summer B term, which I don't mind (although if they admit me to the fall term that would be nice)

So, what are my chances? Should I take Physics Honors and/or French III Honors my senior year? What do you recommend? It scares me when I read about people who do so well in high school and get accepted everywhere except for Florida, but then I read other stories about people who didn't do much but still got accepted. It's like a lottery or something.
I understand this is an extremely long post and I apologize for this, thank you so much if you took the time to read and reply, it means a lot to me.
