Chances for UPENN ED?

Wondering what my chances would be applying ED to penn arts and sciences(economics/math interest) : SAT1: 2210 (760M/730CR/720W) SAT11: 750 Chem (taking math 2 fall) ACT: 33 (will study and take in fall) GPA: 4.24 weighted (top 5%-10%) AP's: macro and micro as a sophomore (5/5) Chem and lang/comp as junior (5/5) taking AP in latin, calc bc, gov, and statistics as a senior. EC: Football captain (three year letterwinner), founding a team to compete in the federal reserve challenge at my school (planning on economics major), founding a tutoring network for captains helping out underclassmen, employed year-round, 80 hours community service mentoring at risk youth. If anyone has ideas for target/safeties too that'd be great! i know ivies are always a crapshoot so i don't need a definitive yes or no just looking for some insight

What’s your unweighted GPA?

3.61 unweighted

That severely limits things. Penn likes to see people in the top 10% of their class.

But, I do think you still stand a great chance. ED you might get in since you are still in the top 10% of your class.

Thank you! I’m checking my unweighted bc that sounds low to me actually thx for pointing that out

No. 4.0 is A average haha. A 3.7 is an A- average and a 3.3 is a B+ average. Atleast, that is how it is at my school. I know some schools that don’t give any value to A-s except 4s and B+ except 3s.

Unweighted typically is out of 4.0 so that’d be A+ pretty sure with 3.67=A and so on

A+ doesn’t have a separate weighting. At some schools, A+ is a 4.25 though.
