Chances for USC?

USC is my dream college and I'd really like to see my chances of being accepted. My high school career (thus far) is as follows:
Freshman year gpa ~3.95 (unweighted)
*Sophomore year gpa ~3.95 (unweighted)
*Junior year gpa 3.94 (unweighted)
*Class rank for my junior year was 14/246

*Senior year will be the first year AP classes are available at my school; I will be taking AP Literature & APUSH

*My first SAT scores were a combined 1660
Second was a 1750.
I'm thinking of taking the ACT's this fall.

*Clubs: photography, national honors society, historical society, communications, mentor program
*Also worked for 8 months this past year.
*Currently enrolled in a dual enrollment program; completing College Algebra (3 credits), Fundamentals of Composition (3 credits), and currently taking Intro to Chemistry (4 credits)

*Out of state resident

If you mean the one in southern CA, you need higher SATs or a good ACT score. If you get those up, you’ll definitely have a chance.

It will help if I know exactly what you’re talking about, University of Southern California, or University of South Carolina at Chapel Hill. Then I’ll be happy to help :).

^ Weird, I’ve only heard of The University of NORTH Carolina at Chapel Hill-Not the southern one. ;)

^ Lol you’re right. I’m sorry lol.

Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding lol. :)

This is a really good university and it’s really big. Your UWGPA is really good because the average GPA that they accept is around ~3.8, so you’re right in the ball park. You don’t have to take the ACT, but if you want to, go ahead, they don’t require both. The only thing that really catches my attention here, is your SAT score. This school isn’t easy to get into. You really have to work hard and keep up with your grades, and standardize test scores. My best suggestion would be is to get your SAT to at least 1800 or higher. Getting a 1800 isn’t impossible, and it’s hard work. This university, like most universities, strongly recommends students to take the most rigorous schedule possible. I’m not saying take every AP class offered, I’m saying challenge yourself. Which I can clearly see you are. Dual enrollment is pretty sweet. It seems like you’re consistent and getting good grades. Going by your EC’s, I don’t what your focus is, but that’s fine. Doing dual enrollment shows universities/colleges that you are able to challenge yourself and willing to take on more difficult things. It’s good to strike out those core classes before Freshman year of college lol.

Overall, I believe you have a chance at University of Southern CA. Just do well Senior year and keep on working hard. You could take the SAT again if you want to get at least a 1800 and above, but you don’t have to unless you feel like it’s necessary. Good Luck with your classes, Senior year, and everything else. *Also, sorry for the mix up, I had a lot of things on my mind. I can’t believe I got USC and UNC mixed up. I’m tired of these abbreviations lol.

I think that as long as you bring up your test scores, you should have a good shot at USC  Maybe try taking a prep class or something?

your GPA scores are good, just raise those standardized test scores and you should be fine

chance me back?

I’m liking the GPA. Do you perhaps have any leadership positions in your EC’s? That would help significantly. As of now, I believe you are a slight reach for the school.
