<p>Perhaps with the 1430. That's a very solid score for UT. If you can get that to 1500 and get rank to 11 or 12 I'd say you have a very good shot.</p>
<p>They don't care what your GPA is or whether you've taken music classes.</p>
<p>You don't seem to have any leadership positions in your resume, you need to change that.</p>
<p>Based on your SAT writing score, I'd say you can probably write pretty well, so that will help you.</p>
<p>Don't take my word for it, because there could be another increase in the number of top ten applicants (I don't think it will increase at all, if anything it will decrease slightly next year) I'd say you are in to Summer Freshman Class.</p>
<p>More specifically, what college are you applying to? I'd recommend you stick with liberal arts and natural sciences, or else geosciences, to have a strong shot.</p>

I am planning to try for engineering, just for the hell of it, to see if I get in. If not I have a few other solid options. I am working on leadership for next year.</p>
