So far in the college search process the schools I’m most interested in are probably UVA, UMichigan, and Cornell. I was wondering if anyone could share some insight about what my chances of acceptance to any of these schools may be. Thanks.

I’d also like to add that I’d love to hear any suggestions for other schools I should look into. Thanks again and looking forward to your responses!
Unweighted GPA is actually 3.88 I don’t know if that makes a difference.
Your test scores are on the low side for UMich CoE, particularly your Math section scores. Your uwGPA is also slightly below their admission average or 3.9 (so 3.88 helps). Your ACT is better but is just at or below the 25th percentile (mid 50 was 31-34 in the last few years but may be higher this year). You may want to retake it with focus on Math. Right now, UMich CoE is a reach for you particularly from OOS. FYI, an in state student with similar GPA but ACT 33 still got rejected this year.
Ok thanks for the advice I’ll definitely keep that in mind.
What leadership do you have, and what extra curriculars in your intended major?
Extra curriculars are definitely not my strong suit. The only thing I really have for leadership involves being promoted to a supervisor at work. As for extra curriculars in my intended major I used to do a program called destination imagination up through middle school and went to the global finals twice but I’m not sure if that counts since it wasn’t in high school.
Also, I’m not 100% sure the engineering college is the way to go for me. I’m mostly interested in civil or environmental engineering but not so much mechanical or electrical or any of those main types of engineering. I also have a lot of interest in architecture so I’m not sure if the CoE is the best place for me, especially if I’m less likely to get in.
