Chances for UW and Essay Help?

Hi... I was just wondering how much a good of a chance I have now.
From Freshman-Junior year, I had about a 3.75 cumulative GPA (unweighted)

Right now for senior year... I am doing pretty bad at the start. I have around a 3.4-3.5 GPA. Took 4 AP Core (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) Classes this year... which appeared to be harder than I thought. Though when I am applying, do they look at my current senior year's grades and add it in?

Also, being in-state, southeast Asian, but a 1440 SAT score...
So far I am only in 3 clubs: Orchestra, A drug awareness club, and a Japanese club.
Also I have been attending UW programs that helps me get into UW, like college essay workshops, which I can put into the activity list.

Though I am really having trouble with my essay right now. I was thinking about doing prompt A, about the culture. But I am having trouble incorporating exciting features in it, and also to explain the big message of it all... I feel like I'm a boring writer when I'm just typing up sentences. I am able to express emotion... but I don't really get how to really capture the audience's attention. Even my parents felt like putting down my paper in the first paragraph. T_T Also my parents aren't really able to help me on the essay since they don't know much about it or how the system works anyway.

Any chance percentage, and advice please?
Thank you future responses for your help!

Also the main reason why I really want to get into UW... because I don't want to split up my family (it's something personal, whether if I get in or have to continue my education on my own going through community college to spend more money on that and towards UW later in the future). And it's the best college in the state for me, so I want to do everything I get to get a good education.

Here is what I read :

GPA: 3.45

SAT: 1440

Ethnicity: Asian

I would say your chances are in the lowest quartile, that between 0-5%

Good luck on a transfer man, it’s that low SAT score that is killin your application. The GPA is ok, as long as it is backed up by an 1800+ SAT score (then you get bumped into the 50% quartile)

Hi, awhile back I also posted about my chances but didn’t really get a helpful response. I like how short and simple your answer was, do you mind gauging my chances too?

I have a GPA of 3.45 and a SAT score of 1790, what quartile would that put me in?

Gohuskies I’d put you at about 20% but that’s because I don’t know your EC’s but that’s a better chance that what I have. I’m in the 0-5% range
Tell me if you get accepted though!

My EC’s are decent but not amazing, an officer position along with a couple of business programs at the UW? I was told doing pre college programs at the campus bumps up the academic scoring you get…? I’m also expecting my writing skills to bring my overall chances up lol, so in addition to the EC’s, great essays?

CokeZer0 I would still appreciate your opinion in addition to LonghornNation’s if you don’t mind!

Is that 1440 a three-test SAT score, or is it for two (ie. Math & Critical Reading)? That’s a troublesome score if it’s 3-way, but very competitive for 2.
