What are my chances for Virginia Tech and UVA? I will have 3.65-3.75gpa by end of junior year. I actively participate in 11 clubs: Model UN, Model Judiciary, FBLA, Ping Pong (president), Medical youth society, National Honor society, National science honor society, Mu Alpha Theta, Octagon club(volunteer club; future president), and MSA (Muslim student association. I am on the track team which is the only sport i have. I don't have any varsity letters. I work 8 hours a week as a bagger. I will be getting another job soon. i am currently taking 3 Ap's and 4 next year. I have 3 years of french. For SAT i'll be around the 2000 range. I go help at an elementary school's homework club once a week. So waht are my chances??

Is your gpa weighted or unweighted? what classes are u taking this year, and wht about next year? With a 2000 on the sat and unweight of 3.75 I thik you can get into tech but uva is going to be a reach

You’re good for Virginia Tech, but… your SAT definitely needs to be a bit higher. UVA is a reach for you.

are you in state?? if so you should have a shot at uva, but if not it will be a definite reach. virginia tech you should be in no problem http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1098460-chance-me-please-ill-chance-back.html

I am currently taking 3AP’s: AP lang, AP psyc, AP Bio; 1 Hnr: Hnr physics and rest regular. il be taking 4 or 5 Ap’s next year and that GPA is unweighted i think

You have a chance at each school, however until you know what your SAT scores are exactly there is really no way to give you a clear idea. Your EC’s are fine, GPA on par for each school, what is your class rank?

Also, UVa reads holistically so your essays will also factor in to their decision.
