I think you’re in for Reed and Smith. You SAT scores are pretty good and your ECs are more than sufficient if not a little general. Write a distinctive essay and you should be accepted into Wellesley and Swathmore as well, but Pomona is quite a stretch.

Wellesley ED - probably in but maybe mid reach (b/c ED is competitive! beware!)
Middlebury - in
Pomona - never heard of it but apparently it’s very hard to get in
Reed - never heard of it
Smith - in
Swarthmore - mid/high reach (I hear it’s very selective)

I think the whole first generation college student thing will help a lot. You have great academics/ GPA and very solid EC’s. You should retake the SAT I though, and retake SAT II in Bio. If your recs and essays are good, I’d say you have a pretty decent shot at all your schools, especially the women’s schools.

By the way: Have you heard of Wesleyan University in CT? They have a program for high schoolers who will be the first in their family to go to college, so obviously in their admissions, I think they will look at that favorably in college candidates. I only say this because Wesleyan is similar to Swarthmore, although probably not as academic. Check it out!

Chance me too? My post is: Chance a worried URM for Ivies and other schools? Thanks!
Good luck and I hope you get in to all your schools!
