I will continue working there as well. This summer I'm attending a Journalism Workshop at Stanford University, as well as traveling to Italy this April & June (I don't know if I can include that nywhere).
Also, I was invited to NHS and will most likley get in.

Overall, I will try to emphasize my determination despite my dismal start. Also, how much my maturity level has increased.

Bump!!!???

Well, I'm in the same boat as you in terms of being somebody who is asking about their chances on this board, so I can't give you any actual advice. That said, don't call your start dismal. You have a few Bs. That does not make you a bad or stupid person. I am worried that too many people are judging themselves too harshly on this website. Yes, people like you and I will post to figure out our chances, but we shouldn't be disappointed if we aren't up to a ridiculous standard. Frankly, if I were you, I wouldn't worry. I'm not sure if you are going to get into Wellesley, but wherever you go, it will be good enough, and it will be good for you.

I'm sorry, but I HATE when people tell me that. Maybe because I'm one of those people who is deadset on something and doesn't want to hear any other options?

Would you prefer someone to tell you that you simply had no chance, and should crawl into a hole?
I do think you have a good chance at Wellesley, but try to find a few more good schools to become excited about.
I LOVE what Rivers and Fog just wrote. Pretty much as soon as I get news of my college acceptances/ rejections (so I can stop obsessing), I'm off this board. People are too anxious here, and the whole "What are my chances" thing is an exercise in futility.

I am sorry if my last post was opposite to what you are looking for. The point that I was trying to make is that getting into college doesn't need to be the determining factor of whether or not we are happy with ourselves. You are applying to Wellesley early decision, and while it is nice to get positive feedback, all I wanted to say was that if someone did give you negative feedback, you shouldn't let that psych you out.
